One of the cleanest Travelodges I've seen. Good spacious rooms. 15-20 mins walk from Cockermouth. Not much in town for young families though but a good option more

We booked for 2 nights at £19 per night which we've done on numerous occasions. The room was clean and functional as you would expect from a Travelodge, but lacking in character and storage space. If you want a clean, reliable, budget hotel in the Western lakes look no further. Good location about a mile from the town.
