We stayed 1 night as a late deal. The location is perfect & the staff friendly. We ate there that night. The duck was beautiful as was my chocolate pudding. However, my Husbands food was not so good & he was left disapointed. Our room was comfortable if a little tired.

Stayed at the waterheads a few times now,allways had a good stay. Great location,on the lake,and only a 5 min walk into the village food is worth a mention in the resturant,well cooked local menu i also understand the hotel is having a refurbishment this year,which help a great deal see you again

Stayed two nights as part of walking tour. Rooms quite large, bathrooms nice tho ours only had shower not tub. Carpets and all a bit worn. arrived late evening, after getting lost. reception was very good with directions. on arrival was greeted with a warm smile. nothing was too much trouble, and roomservice was excellent. dogs were made to feel very welcome
