We arrived and were promptly met by Jon, and then passed along to the "official" greeter of the farm, William, the turkey and his mate, Lady Kate. My wife and I spend two nights in this delightful little farmhouse set in the English Lakelands. Famous for its Beatrix Potter connections I would add to accolade this the friendliness of its owners. One pays top price for accommodation but I challenge anyone to find a more delightful place. We shall return.
