Helpful staff and the phone call prior to our stay due to the inclement weather was greatly appreciated. Football and film on the big screen washed down with good local beer. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Stunning, quiet location and great facilities, whilst not all that far from Grasmere and accessible. Very highly recommended. The communication prior to arrival and information received was also very informative.

Thorny How was more than we expected, beautiful location, comfortable rooms & lovely breakfast.
