Lovely hotel with modern decor in Victorian building. Plenty of tea/coffee/milks etc in room and lovely Molton Brown products. However check the size of your room before you book, many of the rooms are VERY small. Upside is Tweedies bar where the staff and food are excellent. more

ecxellent again (third time staying here). Had a mews room. Stayed with wife and 2.5yr old. Room ideal for us. we set her bed up on the mezzanine floor - which meant we could sit downstairs. Great food, excellent range of real ales. a comfortable lounge in the main building. Will definitely come back again. more

We chose this hotel as it took dogs. The welcome and reception were excellent. The Hotel lobby area was classy without being ostentatios, the refurbished areas were all stylish.
