Ivy house hotel is a fantastic base to explore the laske district. Hawkshead itself was magical at Christmas with decorations tastfully done. The hotel itself was absolutley charming. The food was excellent and the staff very helpful. Will definately be comming back. more

This is a beauitful hotel right in the centre of Hawkshead. The room was fabulous with a gorgeous old fashioned bed and a victorian bathroom, if a little on the small side.
