Dougie and Andrea run an excellent B&B, an easy stroll from the centre of Hawkshead. It's a good centre for walking, and Windermere and Coniston are easily accessible. Our room was large, and the bathroom huge. Breakfasts are generous and served in the conservatory. We'll certainly be returning. more

Stayed in this B&B for three nights. Old house with very large room and big bathroom with bath and shower. Huge super kingsize bed. Horrible little TV, but otherwise good stay with nice hosts and good breakfasts. House set in beautiful garden, surrounded by fields and a short stroll to the lovely village of Hawkshead.
