ADVANTAGES: Great location, it was only a trot across the road to the town centre. Service was good, although there were no biscuits on the tea tray! Staff were extremely friendly, and ready to help at all times. Fantastic view from the room (some rooms face the golf course, others like ours face Blencathra), the window was a bit 1970's... more

I nearly ticked the very good box but I don't give praise lightley! We had a room on top floor which had an excellent view -but to see it you had to stand up. The stairs are steep and its a long hike up to top floor - so ask for a first floor room if your not fit. The... more

Originally booked for two nights at Crow Park, but cut our stay short due to the room. We had our dog with us and the only room they could put us in was right next to the reception desk. The room itself was clean, but very small and without shower (bath instead). It was also very noisy being next to... more

We chose this hotel for the following reasons: proximity to the Lakeside Theatre; proximity to Morrels; a lateish breakfast time(by Lake District standards) and the prospect of peace and quiet, with good views: we were not disappointed. Arriving at one p.m. we were checked in efficiently and shown to our rooms. The rooms were of a good size, clean, with... more

Stayed here with a Rick Steves tour and was assigned Room 21. It was on the 3rd floor and had a view out the back not overlooking the lake. Hotel was in a good location for walks to Lake Derwentwater which we did while there. Breakfast was good and hotel staff was attentive. more

We (2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 2) stayed at Crow Park for 2 nights in August 09. The staff were very welcoming and remebered prefernces, like tea at breakfast, a nice touch. The room (21) was on the third floor, but we had been told that on booking and the staf helped with the luggage/children so there... more

I stayed here for two nights in July and was pleased with the hotel. I was in room 22 which is a bit of a trek up to the top of the building, but it's worth it for the stunning views. Staff were friendly, breakfast was fine and the free car park was handy as it's not that easy getting... more

The hotel, as the name suggests, is next to Crow Park. Just a few minutes walk into town and benefits from car parking which was a great plus. The staff were friendly and our room (no. 1) overlooked Skiddaw. This room has a bath with mixer taps with shower head, which, coming from a keen shower household was a slight... more

A group of us went to spend the weekend at the Crow Park Hotel in Keswick to celebrate one of the group members 40th birthday. When we first enquired about booking the rooms, I was told that due to it being a busy period, there would not be a single room available for me so I would have to pay... more

A bit harsh i think. Crow Park Hotel is 0ver 150years old. Room 7 is not the largest room we have but it has a new bathroom, carpet, bed , bedding, curtains and a new hard wood window with a lovely view of Keswick town and Latrigg. I wouldnt say £86.00 was expensive for single occupancy of a double room....

I stayed 3 nights in early July of 2008 and was impressed by the courtesy of the staff, quality of service and the quality of the food. A full English breakfast was included with the price of the room, which is always a great way to start a busy touring day. The view from my room was spectacular, overlooking a... more
