I was surprised that the restaurant at The George Hotel didn't have its own entry in Keswick Restaurants, given that it's very popular with the floating population of visitors to the town. Didn't stay in the hotel, so can't comment on that, but i have to say the restaurant is nothing special, contrary to what it may think. The menu is quite extensive and is complimented by a list of daily specials, but after a little bit of thinking, i'm not so sure that these 'daily specials' aren't monthly or even yearly.... more

We made the mistake of re-visiting somewhere we'd been slightly disappointed with before only to find that it had gone even further downhill.
