Howe View is a small B&B with two guest bedrooms. It occupies an elevated position in the quiet village of Braithwaite, away from the crowds of Keswick and enjoying fine views of the fells.Hosts Linda and Tony Martin offer a warm welcome.
Our ensuite family room (one double and one single bed) was comfortable, well appointed and clean. Breakfast was served in the conservatory dining room, which has marvellous panoramic views of the fells. The food and service were both excellent. There is also a lounge for guests.
You can leave your car parked at Howe View, there is excellent walking straight from the door and a bus service from Braithwaite serving Whinlatter, Buttermere, Borrowdale and Keswick.
For evening meals there is a good pub five minutes walk away.
Overall, an excellent B&B, outstanding value for money. Recommended. more
