Friendly host family. Beautiful tranquil spot, near A66 for convenience, but distant enough for it not to be seen or heard. Beautiful bathroom in twin room. I am amazed that anyone can find anything negative to say about this place, and certainly to rate 1/5 is beyond belief. Very peaceful location, only 2-3 miles from Keswick and Derwent lake.
