Stayed in the deluxe room with four poster and spa bath...room was immaculate, modern, stylish (more akin to a five star hotel), guest house in general likewise, extremely friendly...worth every penny...would definitely go back. Watched the tennis in the bath drinking champagne and eating strawberries, spa bath comfortably accommodates two,,,bliss!!!! Parking is a major bonus...ignore what other reviewer said about... more

We have just spent 4 nights in the lake district walking and sight seeing. The Stonegarth proved to be a great B&B to stay in. Our room was excellent with a four poster bed and jacuzzi (surprisingly reviving after some long hot fell walks). The location in keswick was perfect for fell walking and we had parking (vital in that... more

I have just returned from a romantic getaway my boyfriend had booked. At first I was dubious to what the furnishings would be like in the rooms. But was really surprised and thrilled to see a beautifully decorated bedroom and fabulous bathroom! Very modern and smartly done! The breakfast was delicious and the rest of the guest house very lovely!... more

Stayed 2 nights, Friday & Saturday at Stonegarth. I was basically only in the hotel to Sleep and have breakfast before setiing out for the day. The single room i was in (room 5) though small was more than adequate for my needs. Clean ensuite bathroom with bath , small fridge for my use and a really comfortable bed. The... more

The rooms were large, clean, well-decorated and had nice personal touches like vintage furniture and four-poster beds. A real sense of luxury. The bathrooms were on the small side but had good fittings and one had a spa bath. The couple running the place were very polite, and made a fantastic English breakfast in very good time. Prices for the... more

One of the few b&bs near the centre of Keswick with its own parking. Lovely room - four poster, spa bath (small), ensuite. Very good breakfast too, and friendly, helpful owners. We will be back! more

Just returned from a pleasant stay at this guest house and just have to report what a bright, clean, and rather luxurious place this is. It is on a street, a row of guest houses near the town center. A five minute walk and you are at the Keswick town center, but away from the weekend crowd noise. Stonegarth is... more

This establishment is certainly positioned in a convienient area of Keswick, and yes it has a carpark - however it does resemble a lake when it rains! The bedrooms vary, but on the whole they are lovely, time and thought has gone into making them comfortable, unfortunate that the same thought hasn't gone into the bathrooms, which are dated and... more

Stonegarth is a little haven of peace and tranquillity in the busy tourist centre of Keswick. It is great to have off street parking, really comfortable accommodation, excellent breakfasts and a very warm welcome. I will go back again, and again, and again. more
