We were allocated what must have been the last available room in the hotel which was designed for the disabled even though we are both able bodied. The room smelt foul. Lovely setting and peaceful. Breakfast OK. Dinner spoiled by main course which was just average compared with starter and dessert. Veg overcooked and out of season, meat tough. Too much much emphasis on presentation at expense of quality. Late diners couldn't always get their choice. Male waiters were excellent. Bedroom well decorated and bathroom very clean.
