The older woman travelling alone must sometimes be a tricky customer and at Badger's Wood they get it exactly right: spotless bedrooms and shower rooms; a friendly but not intrusive welcome; delicious breakfasts produced with apparent ease and efficiency and all-round very good value for money. Andrew and Ann were attentive and accommodating but not intrusive. Rooms (both) were immaculate. Breakfast very good. A bed larger than a double and a bigger shower would have been nice, but hey its a B&B. more
