we stayed here at the beginning of june. we love keswick and the lakes and on this visit the weather was fantastic. this hotel was lovely ,modern comfortable rooms which i looked forward to returning too at the end of those long walks. hope to be returning soon more

We stayed in many B&B's in England, but none were so clean and cheery as Ellergill. It's apparent that the couple who run it have put their heart and souls into it: they've created a warm and inviting environment (not to mention affordable) and cook up a mean English breakfast. Highly recommended. more

We've just returned from a trip to the Lakes having stayed at Ellergill for 3 nights. Room was lovely/spotless with beautiful views and location couldn't be better with only a minute's walk to the town centre. Good breakfast selection too. Robin and Clare were very pleasant and obviously take pride in their business. Would definitely recommend! more

Stayed at Ellergill for 3 nights in the large guest room as per main photo! Lovely room and bathroom - worth the extra money. Delicious breakfast, very accomodating and welcoming! Located on a quiet street, within 2 minute walk to the main town centre. Lovely Indian resturant at the end of the road. Would definatley visit again! more
