This b&b is only 3-4 minutes flat walk from Keswick town centre, and we booked for this reason, and the fact that they do not allow dogs (I am allergic). Unfortunately, the reason they don't allow dogs is because they have their own dogs on the premises, and therefore I had a very uncomfortable weekend. However, you live and learn, so when I book a b&b in future I'll be sure to ask that question as well!
Our room was nicely decorated, although quite small, and had an en-suite bathroom with no heating (fine in the summer, very cold in December). The breakfast was fine, with the usual cereals, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and tea/coffee and toast. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and she is the reason I have marked this b&b as above average. more
