We had hoped for a quiet weekend as a break for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. A comfortable spacious room coupled with a relaxing bar serving good food, wine and beer and all with friendly staff always happy to help. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend during July at the Troubeck Inn. Clean and newly refurbished hotel with a relaxed feel to the place. Good service all round and staff helpful. Apart from breakfast, we only ate there in the evening and the food was absolutely delicious. Good local produce, beautifully presented. We will definitely visit again.... more

The hotel and service was very nice. I paid £70 which is a little high because the hotel is far from everything in the Lake district. I will recommend £60 is the price to pay. The owner hadn't good attention, but their employees are very friendly. Room and bar were very clean and beautiful. more
