We just spent a few days camping here and overall had a really positive experience. Positives The Location - Just off the A66 but tucked away on a quiet stretch of road so its very easy to find but feels nicely secluded. just spent a week camping in a tent at this site. the owners were very welcoming on arrival. The site was really good the covered cooking facilities were excellent,as were the showers and communal lounge, a great addition and well used,really good to get people together. Spent one night in a camping pod during a cycling tour of the Lake District - a lovely, well maintained campsite. Site is well designed and staff are very helpful - would recommend. The addition of the camping matresses were a welcome site - very comfortable.

Just stayed in a pod and it was fantastic. Really good location just off the A66 near Keswick. Beautiful scenic view from the pods and great access to Ullswater about 15 minutes drive away.
