Spent two nights at Glenridding Hotel on a wet and raining August weekend. the location of the hotel is splendid but the room was poor. Very soft uncomfortable bed and pokey small room badly in need of refurbishment and redecoration. Breakfast was poor quality food and probably sourced from the nearest cheap supermarket! The wedges covered in some awful gooey cheese-the toasted sandwiches filled with the same pre packed stuff with no taste at all. And all for the sum of about £20. 1 bar staff on a busy August day and 1 chef-a long wait! Better going hungry. more
