Our Sunday night stay started well with an unsolicited room upgrade. The room itself was huge, seemed newly refurbished, comfortable, bathroom of similar standard, both sparkling clean. We are glad we booked this on an act of faith; however it had been mentioned in the Mail on Sunday. The manager and the banqueting staff in particular were marvellous.
