After a long trip through the Lakes, we arrived a a tranquil and stunnig hotel with a beautiful room (Grace) with aawelcome complimentary sherry to get us in the mood for the sumptuous food ahead... A treat. Oh and I highly recommend the porridge for breakfast. More

I stayed in a room perched just yards above the battering waves of Ullswater ( I spent a lot of time looking out during the night, as the noise of the storm didn't favour sleep.) We were treated to a Sunday lunch by friends. I am a vegetarian. All four of us have the most brilliant food. All 5 of my courses were wonderful, and so were my friends. For £45 a head for, its a good price for the food and setting. I will definately be going again. More
