We first stayed 1 year ago, returning this summer because the experience had been so good. The location is wonderful (stunning views, quiet, but convenient for the M6). The house is fascinating - homely, full of character, old-fashioned but comfortable (we love the extra-long bath). The food is excellent and very generous. The warmth of the welcome is quite wonderful.
