Stayed in the Rydal room and was overwhelmed by the size and quality. We loved the location with access to walking, lake, peace and quiet, away from the busier towns in the Lakes District but still within walking distance of Ambleside. Truely a relaxed home from home set in a superb location. Park the car and forget about it during your stay as you won't need it. Comfortable, spacious rooms with great views of the fells and Lake.
