I stayed for 2 nights with my children in March 2008. The location is good, and easy to find with good directions on The Coppice web site. Although the room was not large (triple family room) it was well equipped with everything you would need, including a selection of video's, and plentiful tea/coffee. My wife and I spent a LOVELY five day honeymoon here this past July. We were brand new to the United Kingdom, and Chris and Barbara could not have made us feel more at home. Windermere is only a four-hour train ride away from Paddington, and then The Coppice is just a 10 minute walk away... BUT(!) Chris and Barbara... more
