Briardene is very close to the Windermere shops and a short drive to the Lake. We stayed in the Attic room which was nice ..but watch your head if you are tall. We stayed here in November 2006 for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The room was spotlessly clean and there was a nice feel about the whole place. One of the cleanest b & b's I have ever seen! Stayed here with my partner for two nights Friday and Saturday. Room was very comfortable with a super king size bed. Owners were very helpful in advising on somewhere to eat before we arrived.
