Found room to be a little shabby and worn out, although the bed linen was spotless the bed itself was creaky to say the least. First morning no heating on and no hot water had to have cold bath, no shower facility only rubber attachment for over taps, although no problems after that with either heating or hot water. The Oakthorpe Hotel has everything the discerning traveller needs, and a bit more. The welcome was fantastic and the locaction was ideal with easy parking.
