Like you, having read all the reviews we thought we'd stay at the Boundary for our first ever trip to the Lakes. Unfortunately, a family issue prevented us from staying longer than the 1 night, but of our stay I'd say: We went with the Ranji room as I fancied dipping into the roll top bath as I sipped my... Great hotel - our room was clean, cosy and beautifully decorated. The breakfast selection was fantastic. We were made very welcome by Steve who recommended a number of excellent local restaurants. There was absolutely nothing we werent happy with - so much so we stayed on for an extra night and certainly will be back! More

I have stayed at the Boundary twice and have just booked for my third time, the place is amazing. I have stayed at other hotels and none of them come close!! I have stayed in the Maclaren and my favourite has got to be the Hobbs room, it is utter class. I think this is a 1st class hotel and... More

We booked a few weeks previous for our anniversary and chose the Fry Room, we paid £105 for a sunday 1 night inc full english breakfast. Finding the hotel was easy and the details on the website really helped. On arrival we rang the bell and Steve the owner came down and asked us 'would we like any help with... More

Very impressed with the hotel, the owners especially Steve who helped us sort out our stay at short notice. The location is very good for a short stroll into Bowness and great for walking off the evening meal and extra pint. We would return no question here and for 2 to 3 days it is outstanding. More

We stayed for 2 nights in the Barnes room on the ground floor. The room was clean and well appointed. The host was attentive and the Boundary we found to be quiet and relaxing, thanks for a lovely break. More

When we arrived (2 hours early as the room was already prepared), the first thing our host, Steve said was "Can I help you with your bags?". That set the scene for a lovely, relaxing 24 hours. It was a short stroll into Bowness where we visited the spa and used the pool, sauna and steam room which was lovely!... More

The website accurately reflects this outstanding boutique bed and breakfast set in the beautiful Lake District town of Windemere. Much care has gone into restoring this stunning Victorian building to create a stylish, clean and friendly place to stay whether for one night or one week. I would not hesitate to recommend The Boundary and would like to thank Steve... More
