A lovely b and b, situated between Windermere and Bowness, lots to do and see around the area, many places to eat etc. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming and the service was second to none. Lovely room, comfy beds, superb breakfast offerings. Definitely recommended!

Choose the Glencree as it was close to Bowness, would except a booking of one night and the price was very reasonable. The staff were welcoming, the hotel was traditional in design and very clean. Great place to stay. The bedrooms are all en-suite and with TV and hospitality tray. Ours was not the largest but it was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed.
