“Great Place To Be”

Wonderful B&B. Beautifully decorated, spacious and bright. But above all were the hosts. Cath and Rhoda were welocming beyond description really. We could have stayed there and not leave. A very warm welcome on arrival, a lovely family run guest house a must for everyone who is looking for somewhere homely to stay in the Lake District. We cannot recommend this place enough. Ellerdene is far enough away from any hustle and bustle but close enough to walk into Bowness and Windermere. Ideally located with such a welcoming family.... More

A home from home guest house with lovely owners. We were made so welcome didnt want to leave. Beautiful walks with amazing views so close to the guest house. Nice, family run B & B. The hosts are very friendly and welcioming. The place is very neat and clean and the rooms have a nice and tasteful decor. Ellerdene is located in a nice, quiet area, quite close to Lake Windermere. The breakfast was also good and of good quality. Looking forward to my next visit!
