We have just stayed for 2 nights here and the location is excellent as it's 5 mins walk to the shops/restaurants and offers free parking at a nearby hotel. A very nice small dog friendly hotel, good breakfast with very helpful and friendly ,but not in your face staff, a clean pleasant room with a super space-aged shower. myself, girlfriend and her dog Dottie all had a very nice time in the lake district and wouldn't hesistate to stay here again. more
