We stayed at this 'place' on a romantic trip to Windemere. First impressions were not good. The check - in / bar was dated and a strange smell lingered. stopped here at the weekend , it was all vey very nice , nice big leather chairs , and very warm , must have had CAVITY insalation. so pleased have booked up again in six months more
The Frommers guide said "Bedrooms are a bit smallish but reasonably comfortable".
