This place should be prosecuted under the trade discriptions act! The room was dirty, smelly and cold. The staff are very uninterested. The hotel and staff were both fantastic, dont listen to the bad reviews. our room the penthouse suite was gorgeous and worth every penny, we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff, one man in paticular at the hotel was really helpful and polite, would definately visit this hotel again. more

We booked the the Superior Regal Suite for the open fire but they had to change our room as they were re-decorating. We were extremely happy with the change of rooms as they put us in the Penthouse Suite. Thoroughly enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi bath!! We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay and apologise if you were not aware of the refurbishment, clients are generally advised and it is also noted on the confirmations that are sent to all clients. We do try to keep the noise to a minimum with only work being carried out between 9am & 5pm.
Unfortunately, I only read the reviews for this hotel after I had booked.
