I stayed for two nights in a grey and wet Windermere. The singleroom "numer 9" was small but nice and bathroom with shower was realy ok. The breakfastroom was very nice and the serials etc was exposed in a very proffesional way. The host arrange a special dish for me when I left earlier then sheduled breakfasttime..perfect. more

We stayed here for one night in May 09. We were charged around £170 for two rooms (one double and one single) for one night. Oldfield House was clean and OK, but this was a bit expensive. Given the price we were expecting something a little better. The breakfast was good. more
