We stayed 2 nights in the Lake District, and overall were disappointed with our stay. Lovely friendly hotel. Even though we were three hours later that estimated (i was travel sick) we were still given a very friendly welcome and a cup of tea (badly needed!). The trip was to celebrate my husband 45th birthday. The hotel was everything and more than we expected. Pefectly located for Windermere and exploring the Lakes in general. a great place to stay. nice rooms, good breakfast, comfy bed, not too noisy like some places in the centre of bowness and windermere, good parking which is rare also in this town. we'll definatel be back more

Stayed at the Willowsmere cottage at Easter for a week and enjoyed every moment. Stayed with mum and daughters first weekend, then husband and son joined me for the rest of the week to fish!!!
