Booked a last minute 2 night stay here for May day bank holiday. From the initial phonecall to when we left we were treated exceptionally well. Sausages to die for is a great title- they're from our local butchers, Huddlestone's- in Windermere who makes his own and won many awards for them and his pork pies. He tells an interesting story about last years national pork pie competition and why he came second and not first. Great review and many thanks and we have added tea... More

“Warm Welcome and Excellent Hospitality”

Arrived here after completing The Dales Way. A warm welcome with tea and cake. Lovely spacious, comfortable room with a huge soft bed. Relaxing atmosphere throughout this superb Victorian house. Wide choice of food for breakfast. It was shame I did not have time to sample it all!! Nothing was too much trouble.

We do get walkers who have either just finished or about to start either The Dales Way (Bowness to Ilkley) or one they have planned themselves with a company we can sort to take your bags from place to place. “Lovely time”

We stayed for two night s at this lovely Bed & Breakfast was only sorry we did not stay longer to sample Phil's cooking !!! A lovely room spacious and the most comfortable bed Phil and Mary are a lovely couple and I really hope to stay again

You've got it in one- the relaxed atmosphere and informality and than you for your review- sorry not to have replied sooner.
