No one to greet us on arrival. When they did arrive never checked to see if everything was ok, not to even introduce themselves. Small bathroom,filthy shower. Watered down handwash and shower gel. Just a quick getaway for a one night mid-week stay. We called the guest house direct and spoke to Susan. The guest house is conveniently located just after Windermere on the left hand side, just before the Police station. There is limited parking but we were lucky and parked up. Stayed Wednesday and Thursday night this week. Ideal setting about midway between Windermere and Bowness easy walking to both. Friendly and inviting atmosphere, good rates, not the Ritz but quality B&B. Owners great fun. Good breakfast with plenty options. Will be back as soon as possible. more

Do not go to this guest house unless....... you want home from home, excellent food, excellent company & quality entertainment at breakfast time!!!!!!
