A super stay at this centrally located property in Windermere. A 2 minute walk to the pubs and restaurants, a 5 minute cab ride to Bowness, it's in a great spot. We stayed here for a long weekend, and found the hotel excellent. We had a four poster room which wasn't huge but really lovely, with a huge window. The room was clean and well decorated and the bed itself was lovely and comfortable. I especially liked the little teddy bear in the room, with his ravensworth hoody! Breakfasts were nice... more

Beautifully appointed rooms with great hosts. A little out of town so a bit of a walk to local restaurants but the standard of the rooms makes up for it. more

Having read the previous review I was somewhat apprehensive before arriving at The Ravensworth. I need not have worried, however. I received a friendly welcome and my room was extremely clean, well furnished and very comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent. For £30, including breakfast, The Ravensworth offers excellent value. I would certainly recommend it and definitely stay there again. more
