My partner found the Ellerthwaite Lodge Hotel on the web, we chose because of the location and price. Was looking for a short break in Windermere and there are so many Hotels and B&B online. I was very sceptical booking as you are never sure what to expect. When we arrived we were more than happy. We found the hotel to be extremely pleasant and Roger (the manager) to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well-kept and attractively decorated. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
