We returned today from a short stay at The Hideaway. Having read all the previous reviews about the quality of the food we decided to take advantage of a special deal which included five course evening meals and a glass of champagne on one evening. We were so glad we made this choice as the food quality was wonderful, presentation... More

We are just back from a fantastic stay at The Hideaway and want to say a big thank you to trip advisor for another great find and also to Lisa, Richard, Tomasz and the team. We stayed as a family of 4 (two teenage kids) for two nights in rooms 4&7. The rooms are exactly as described on the website... More

My partner and I were really keen to come back to the Hideaway after a lovely weekend there last year, and were really pleased that we had the same wonderful stay this year! The service was friendly and welcoming; you really feel that the staff want to make your stay perfect. Above all the food was fantastic - the breakfast... More

This is not only the best hotel that we have stayed in by a country mile, the food was absolutely exceptional. We have never had food or service like it- on arrival we were taken by Tomas (who is so welcoming and hospitable) to room 5 which is comfy, relaxing and beautiful. The pillows were plush and bouncy and the... More

Me and my partner stayed in room 1, it was indeed super comfy! Everything about this place is spot on. From the welcome, the room, and most impressively the food is outstanding. Don't bother looking at any other hotel, just book this one seriously! I'll be back and will recommend to all. Apologies to Lucy for dropping my drink on... More

I was taken here as a surprise last year for my birthday. The welcome was polite and the room was clean, light and modern. The complimentary tea and cakes were such a nice gesture and really helped make this hotel stand out. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, all freshly made to order and a great selection of food. Our... More

We had a lovely one night stay here. We were pleasantly surprised, on arriving early to find that our room was ready and spotlessly clean enabling us to start our break early and head out for the afternoon without our luggage in tow. The town was easily within walking distance. We were looked after by Tomas for whom nothing was... More

Spent a lovely 2 nights here. Despite the fact we were staying in the hotel's cheapest room (mini double), we cannot fault it. The staff were friendly and the hotel was decorated to a high standard throughout - can't wait to return!! More

My partner and i stayed for a weekend in Nov 11 as a treat for her 30th birthday. The setting was stunning, the room was fantastic (Rm 12), the spiral staircase down to the large bathroom is not something you get in most places. The staff were friendly and this made us feel at home instantly. Breakfast was superb with... More
