The location was excellent easy walking distance between Windermere and Bowness. Good off street parking. Very spaceous, well decorated and clean rooms. Just returned from a 2 night stay, and have had a great time. Lovely warm welcome from Jackie. The room was really spacious, well decorated and comfortable. Breakfasts, good choices and particularly enjoyed the 'no calories' full english breakfast ;-) Located inbetween Windermere and Bowness so ideal for walking to both locations. We stayed here from 7th till 10th june and found the ravenscroft to be an absolute gem , from the owners jackie and steve, too the rooms being spotless and comfortable, and the breakfasts which are fabulous, don't hesitate this is the place!!! More
