We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Wheatland’s Lodge and had a wonderful time. This is a hotel where you can relax and unwind after a nice day out by the lake. It is family run and Sarah really looked after us, she was very friendly and was more than happy to recommend places for us... more

Great Location ,walking distance to windermere or bowness. We stayed in deluxe room ,very spacious with four poster bed,Plazma TV,Coffee/Tea facilites and jacuzzi bath.This B&B is very modern and contempary,fresh and clean. The only reason that I would not stay here again is the price. The rooms are very nice but the noise from upstairs guests woke me up. Breakfast - typical bnb. more
