I got married here on 5th April 2009. From the start to the finish nothing was too much for the staff at this hotel who bent over backwards to make sure we had a perfect day. Our Wedding Co-ordinators, Catherine and Vicki, worked so hard from the planning stages through to the actual day, when they stayed on hand all... more

If it was possible to give negative marks for this hotel I would. Our ground floor oven of a room smelled of chemicals, was reached via foul hallway, full of dirty linen and rubbish bags left over the wknd then we couldn't open window due to room facing car park & main rd. After insisting on a change of room to... more

Hotel was very nice and Clean. We stayed in an executive room which was very big. The only downside of the night was we were at a wedding at the hotel and theyt had no resident bar to go to after the wedding. Also the check out time is to early at 11am more

Overall was pleased with my first stay as it was convenient for visiting our daughter at salford, but on arrival at 2.20pm we were given our key by friendly receptionist, as we walked off to our room, another member of staff followed us and said our room wasn't ready!(despite a 2 o clock check in!), we explained we just neede... more

The outside insn't very inspiring, looks like an old roadside pub with some rooms in a very dated looking extension. However, the staff are really cheerful and attentive, and I get the impression this is an independently run hotel, and I can imagine how difficult it is to compete with the big chains. Rooms are OK but dark and a... more

Stayed 2 nights over the weekend with family and 3 small children. Although the rooms are clean with crisp laundered bedding, some of the rooms are a bit dated and dark. The iron and trouser press didn't work in our room and the shower was 'limp' to say the least. The lift was also out of action which could have... more

Having read some terrible reviews on the website I was aprehensive about staying at this hotel. I would not have chosen to, however it was necessary due to the location. However, the staff seemed helpful enough and the rooms were perfectly acceptable. The food was suprisingly expensive and the location is hardly fantastic (at a major road junction) but the... more

From entering the hotel I was surprised to see how friendly all the staff were. They were always happy to help and the facilities for the price was great. The rooms themselves although slightly dated were completly clean and nothing could be faulted. I was expecting a travel tavern and instead I got a hotel that served fantastic food with... more
