Stayed 1 night with 2 friends in family room on a shopping trip. Spent night in 3-bed family room which was clean but dated. En-suite needs completely revamping, was full of mould and mildew. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Julie, the manageress, seems to have a very good team behind her. The breakfast was full... more

A great find for us was The Beechfield Hotel. After traipsing round looking for a one night stay somewhere we fell upon the hotel. We were in a family room, which was basic but still had everything we needed like clean towels, soaps and plentiful supply of tea and coffee. The walls could do with a lick of paint but other than that... more

HI After visiting The Beechfield myself with my family, I am quite surprised at trip advisor's reviews for the hotel. What do people expect for £25 per night. The hotel is in a great location with free parking, which would cost you another at least £10-£15 anywhere else. The rooms are basic but they are spotless, I could not fault... more

This is the first time Trip Advisor has let me down. I have stayed in Blackpool many times and must say The Beechfield is JUST ABOUT on par with anywhere else I've stayed. This time i booked for friends aswell so hoped to stay somewhere a bit better than the norm on the advice of trip advisor ratings.Reception and bar... more

Hi, I booked two nights at this hotel at the end of August 2009 for my wife and 8 month old baby. The hotel provided a travel cot. The reason I booked this hotel was because it was central and ranked number 4 on Tripadvisor at the time of booking. The hotel was extremely disappointing and does not merit such... more

We booked this hotel for 3 nights on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews and were sorely disappointed on arrival. Like a previous reviewer, I don't like to doubt the validity of other reviews however I do have to question their motives for rating this hotel so highly. Whilst the staff are extremely friendly (we could not fault them) the... more

I was a little dissapointed given that the hotel was rated so highly by Trip Advisor, but for Bed and Breakfast at £30 a night for an August weekend, I can't complain. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast staff were particularly attentive. Rooms and facilities are looking tired but so is most of Blackpool. Other positives were free... more

This hotel is good value for money. It is in the centre of Blackpool, sitting just behind the Sea Life Centre. The rooms are basic but comfortable and immaculately clean, but you dont go to Blackpool to sit in your room! The Hotel facilities are also immaculately clean and very comfortable. The Bar area is large and spacious and inviting.... more
