On arrival we were met by Ken and Kathy who showed us where to park (for free) and then up to our room. Everything was clean and tidy, freeview in the room, loads of tea and coffee available, VERY comfy bed, great ensuite facility. We were within 5 mins walk of the South Promenade with the Pleasure Beach and ample... more

Hi Alison, Sorry we were not on hand to say goodbye but Sunday mornings are our most busy in terms of numbers of breakfasts we prepare and rooms we have to prepare for incoming visitors. You would have been most welcome to knock on the back door where the car park was to bid farewell and perhaps we should have...

I travelled with my husband, 16 year old son, 11 year old daughter and 3 year old twin daughters. I booked a family room and was pleasantly surprised how big it was (we had room 8) there was ample space for us all and enough storage for our luggage. The beds were comfy and the room was really cosy. We... more

Excellent food with service to match, nothing too much trouble. Liked the fact that breakfast wasn't served too early (8:45-9:30). Located in a quiet street but few minutes from the pleasure beach and plenty of daytime entertainment, ideal for famillies. We enjoyed the quiet bar with TV, but we also had freeview TV in our room for late night viewing. more

I came up with seven companions to take in the "Vets week" before we arrived I was getting up to date, just released information from Ken. The rooms were allocated on the basis of different disabilities which a couple of the guys really appreciated. Ken and Kathy were most accommodating, when we stayed in watching the European football in their... more

We had a very relaxing time at Moorbank House, in a friendly family atmosphere. Nothing was to much trouble for the owners Kathy and Ken to make our stay with them more enjoyable. They both went out of their way to insure we had all the information of the local events taking place and how to get there. I would... more
