We were transferred to this place after a fire moved us from our original hotel and were met with the most grumpy of proprieters at the Rio Rita Hotel. Because we had 3 double rooms with single occupancy at our previous place they automatically gave us 3 doubles and assumed that 6 people were coming, completely misunderstanding the arrangement. They then accused us of getting it wrong and proceeded to argue with us quite aggressively. Then they raised the price to £35 pppn on the spot after agreeing £20pppn. They almost refused to give us our deposit back when we said we wanted to leave as they said if we had "sat on the bed" we had 'used' the room!

The rooms were basic and small with no room to put luggage - no chairs or tables, just a wardrobe & bed and enough room to walk round. The shower room was the same size.
