Fawlty Towers has nothing on this place! I travelled with 10 other girls for a girly weekend. When ringing round, most hotels were booked up, but this had plenty of spaces - we soon found out why! Having to park 2 streets away wasn't a good start and it went rapidly downhill from there. We were put in 3 family rooms - 2 of which had a double bed and bunkbeds. I think the bunkbeds were there to provide the entertainment later on as we were in Blackpool to celebrate a 40th birthday, so most of us were around that age and out for a night on the lash! Other than the beds in the room, there was very little carpet space. A sink and tea-making equipment and very small wardrobe completed the furnishings. The showers were on the landing but no towels were provided until we asked for some! The toilets (with ill fitting doors that you had to slam shut in order to lock them) were at the end of the landing but no sinks or towels in there so we had to go back to our rooms to wash our... more
