On arriving there we were met by a musty smell which only got worse. The room had no number on the door so it was a guess the room senario. The room itself was pokey and dirty. The shower had mildew on the walls and curtain and the toilet roll holder was something I cant describe here. The ceiling tiles... more

Disgusting and absolutely filthy. Dont stay here, overpriced not even a 1 star. Ceiling tiles brown with damp, no curtains at window. Run down, fixtures and fittings broke and hanging off. Wet tissue thrown all on bathroom ceilings not removed. Screeching fan came on every time we turned the bathroom light on. Damn right nasty. Couldnt stomach to eat the... more

Had a really nice time in Blackpool and very much enjoyed the service of the attentive staff at this nice little hotel. I can only assume the other reviewers are getting confused with a different hotel of the same name as I found no fault during my stay. more

Having arrived at the Grosvenor in Palatine Road on Saturday at approximately 12 noon, to find nobody at home made my first impression of the place true! It looked dirty from the outside and inside was no better!!! Our room was in the attic. Meant to be a double room with ensuite facilities! Tiny and dirty. The bedding was old... more

Once again Trip advisor is printing facts that they do not investigate. These people never were booked into my hotel. They obviously were staying at the other Grosvenor Hotel on Albert Road Blackpool we are on Palatine Road. A little indication of the untruths is we are a all female run hotel there is NO male staff at all. And...

Seemed nice on arrival, however rooms very small. Double room but only had 3/4 bed in it. Only one bath towel for two. My friends room had a double and single bedded room but couldn't sleep on single bed as springs in mattress had gone! In our room we were shocked to find hairs when we pulled back the sheets... more

Dear unimpressed I am very sorry for any discomfort that you experiened while staying at our hotel. Let me comment first about the two single beds that were in the family rooms both are brand new and if you wish I can send you a reciept to prove this. The size of the rooms are a standard family the previous...
