We visited the Vernon Lodge in Blackpool for a short break after finding a great on line deal. I visited with my partner and young son. Upon arrival the owners were very helpful and friendly. We had booked a family ensuite room, with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The rooms were very nice, nothing too flash, but had everything we needed. They were clean, the beds were comfy, there was spare towels, tea and coffee making facilities and a colour t.v. Downstairs there was a nice lounge with t.v and dvd player and books for everyone. A restaurant where breakfast and evening meals were served. We only booked for the breakfast but it was lovely, no complaints. There was also a lovely bar/lounge. It was very cosy. We tended to stay at the hotel in the evening rather than go out about town, as the atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly.
