I went to Blackpool to visit family who live in the area. I was booked to stay elsewhere but after reading some awful reviews of that particular hotel online i changed my booking to The Blue C Hotel at the last minute. This hotel was wonderful. Anne the proprietor was very welcoming along with Sarah the waitress. This hotel is reasonably small so it has a family feel. My room was very clean and bright, had an en suite shower room and the bed was very comfortable. There was tea and coffee making facilities in my room. The lounge/ bar area was very comfortable and the restaurant was always laid out nicely. As for the food, i could not fault it. There were cereals and juices, a full english breakfast, toast and tea/coffee for breakfast. This breakfast set me up for the day meaning i didn't need to eat anything else until dinner time, a great money saver.
