DON’T GO THERE

Following an advert in the local Newspaper and a favourable web page we booked one night at the New Dorchester Hotel, Queens Promenade, Blackpool for early October 2008.
This turned out to be a most unfortunate decision and I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy.
After reading other reports on your web page, I submit our impression.

The room itself was sold as a double room (#16), however the ability to fit a double bed into a room does not necessarily mean a 'double' room in my opinion. The room was app. 7ft x 8ft in size and the rear of the the bed headboard had to be negotiated in order to enter the shower/WC (sink was next to the bed along with the rooms sole towel, a handtowel), again the size of this room was in the category of 'compact' at app. 5ft x 5ft maximum... more
